for a Choral Evensong Celebrating The Day of Pentecost!
A Note from the Cathedral's Director of Music:
Please join us for the final Choral Evensong of our program year! Featuring the joyous and spirit-filled festival cantata Rejoice in the Lamb by Benjamin Britten sung by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Canon Nick, this service will also feature music by Herbert Howells, Bernard Rose, and Thomas Tallis. This service will also be the final Evensong officiated by Dean Heather in her role as Dean of St. Andrew’s Cathedral, before she begins her next role at St. Christopher’s School in Richmond, VA.
